RethinkHR is designed to examine the nature of the challenges facing the practice of HR with a view to charting a new course for future direction towards organizational and national strategic significance. The RethinkHR conference is a collective organizational and national awakening to push beyond the basics, enhancing the reputation of HR in a number of areas such as workforce analytics, talent management, and employee engagement so as to reinforce the need for HR as important in business leadership. Unlike conventional HR conferences, RethinkHR is poised to entrench delivery of unique talent solutions tailored to each organization and domestic circumstances and requirements. In achieving this, HR leaders would develop a deep understanding of the business – in the same way, and using the same "language", as other managers; and how to ultimately tie proposed HR measures to specific business outcomes. Our program would focus on rethinking HR in order to transform its practice towards delivering the long awaited promise of becoming a strategic partner to the business and national human capital development CONFRENCE OBJECTIVES 1. To enhance critical understanding of current global and domestic economic trends as it affects HR while exposing participants to real-life and time-tested solutions. 5. To advance the practice and profession of HR in Nigeria.
