Originating in Houston, TX in 1958, Hughes Manufacturing has been meeting outdoor advertising demands throughout the world for the past 60 years. Starting with a sewing machine in her garage, Mrs. Renate Hughes sewed pennants and flags all on her own. Eventually, Mr. and Mrs. Hughes were able to open a factory and also a storefront. The factory was moved to Giddings, TX in the late 1980s. Hughes Manufacturing now operates solely from Giddings, TX with Mrs. Renate Hughes still working at the business on a daily basis. Hughes now manufactures many pennants, flags, banners, vinyl graphics and other signs that ship anywhere as close as Texas or as far as Germany and China.
