Hugreen Power is a company specialized in manufacturing PEM fuel cell systems with a capacity ranged from 200W through 1KW. We are building products on a custom-made basis and have so far focused on compact and lightweight products ranged from 200W to 1KW for portable and mobile purpose and become globally competitive. We are now gearing up to develop products with a larger capacity up to 25KW based on the technology we have accumulated.Even I officially started business in 2011, I have involved in the development project of this fuel cell system from 2007 in KAIST, The Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology called the MIT of Korea, and established company in 2011 to commercialize the product as I saw the market potential of the product. We have focused our marketing activities on several areas as main market. We have supplied our products for use as power sources for various equipment including unmanned aerial vehicles, robots et cetera and power generators used in command posts in the military market and APU and UPS and so on in the household and industrial market. We have various technologies converged into total 7 core technologies including a newly developed hydrogen generating technology using a non-catalytic type of solid chemical hydride. We have tested the performance of the fuel cells using an UAV as a platform first and succeeded in making it fly for a long time in the combat experiment jointed conducted by Korean army, and we recently developed does not require the use of a catalyst, it improves the reliability and durability of the product and as it is stored in a solid state, it increases storability as well. Our test results also showed that it operated normally without problem at cold temperatures below -40℃.
