Based on community engagement, interfaith dialogue, celebrating diversity and peace-building and in our dedication to peace and coexistence, Hum-Aahang believes in creating a parallel space for students, teachers, academics, professionals, and common citizens to start a conversation, join hands and work upon the various issues confronting our society and culture today.HumAahang is committed to empowering people by engaging them through interaction, discussion, awareness, participation and education; in hope of the realization of its vision, which is a vibrant, tolerant, peaceful and egalitarian society. In pursuit of HumAahang's aims and principles, we launched a number of wide-ranging initiatives including talks, panel discussions, debates, open mic nights, human chains, protest walks, solidarity vigils, celebrating events of religious importance for minorities, community engagement and reaching out to victims of terrorism and extremism.Alongside that we have long term projects that allow us to put in practice everything we talk about. We travel all across Pakistan to interact, communicate and learn from communities that belong to diverse cultural, ethnic and religious backgrounds. This is Khanabadosh that travels into the heart of this land. We have projects on education and community uplifting; Project Youhanabad being of it. Not Just Number is another attempt to remember those who left this world and honour their memory. We are constantly in a process of learning more and expanding our scope of work.
