Human Rights Centre of University of Padua Details

The Centre was founded in 1982, as the first structural response of the Italian Academia to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and to the recommendations of international Institutions. Besides the UNESCO Chair, the Centre hosts the European Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence in Intercultural dialogue, human rights and multilevel governance. The vocation of the Centre is to contribute to the development of the interdisciplinary human rights knowledge through research, education and training. The director of the Centre is prof. Marco Mascia.
