H3Press evolved from an undergraduate folie-a-deux between artists Brandy Levens and Angela Morales. When a madness is shared by two, it can only result in further madness. And thus a press was born. One of the first things you do when you go into someone's house for the first time is look over their bookshelf. And those books are made for bonding; you find the ones you recognize, explore the ones new and interesting, borrow some that you hopefully won't forget to return. A book's something you can touch, hold, carry with you, experience on your own level; and you get to share that experience with that person, and at the same time with all those million dots across the globe. So yeah, books are cool. We're lucky to be surrounded with so many people who are doing things, really doing things, and we really think that's important and something that should be noticed. Great writers, great artists. And there should be a venue for them, a way to spread that "doing" around. So what better way than with books, the voice of the proletariat, so to speak. Some things just belong in books. And these are the things that belong on your shelf, because they're individuals, you know, we bound them for you alone. But the things inside, they belong to the people you share them with, the people we reach, that could be big. And how cool is that.
