The Hybrid Reality Institute is dedicated to researching the emerging phenomenon of human-technology co-evolution. The Institute explores the implications of our complex and irreversible tango with science and technology on all aspects of our everyday life: how we educate ourselves, handle intimate relationships, perceive our self-worth, enhance ourselves physically and mentally, and collaborate as businesses and nations. By going beyond ‘what will be the new technology?' to probe further into ‘what does it mean for me and society', the Institute's work will unlock a lively discussion on what new lifestyles and social structures are just around the corner, and how we can make informed choices to remain in control of an uncertain future. One of the projects of the Institute is the book Hybrid Reality: Techno-Life in the 21st Century co-authored by Ayesha Khanna and Parag Khanna, which will be published in 2012.
