The Engineering College, Kakinada has been established in the year 1946. The students who have successfully passed out of the college are spread over the world and quite many of them rose to very senior and commendable positions. Alumni meets have been taking place over a period of time but during the meet on 8th January, 2006 held at the Botanical gardens, Kondapur, Hyderabad it was decided to form a registered association to facilitate improved fraternity and periodical meets.Vision:To play a vital role in building up fraternity among the alumni of the August Institution, spread over the globe and promoting the excellence of the mother institution.Mission:To facilitate the alumni to serve the institution in making it a world class institution in the educational standards, by contributing to modernise the laboratories and to help the students with scholarships and placements.The Aims and Objectives:To promote fraternity among the Alumni of JNTU College of Engineering, Kakinada by conducting Cultural, Technical, Professional and Welfare activities.To promote excellence of the mother Institution viz., Engineering College, Kakinada, through liaison with the College administration, (in helping, to build / augment the Laboratories, institute Scholarships) by donating funds, equipment, books etc.,.The Registration of the Association:The Hyderabad Alumni Association of JNTU College of Engineering, Kakinada is registered under the Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act (2001) at the Office of the Registrar of Societies at Hyderabad on 31st August 2006 with the Registration No. 1209 of 2006.Though this is Association is located in Hyderabad and named as Hyderabad. The members are not only from Hyderabad but also from Anantapur, Bangalore, Kakinada, Karwar, Khammam, Nellore, New Delhi, Pune, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam and Yanam. And also, apart from India, our members are in USA, Nigeria, Hong Kong and Malawi.
