HydroGeoLogic Pty Ltd was established in 2013 by Hugh Middlemis as an independent consultancy offering services in hydrogeology, hydrology, modelling and engineering for mining, energy and resources/catchment management projects across Australia and internationally.Independent peer review of modelling investigations is core business, noting that Hugh was principal author of the 2001 Australian modelling guidelines, and co-author of 2018/19 reports on uncertainty analysis.Hugh has been appointed to several expert panels and has experience as an expert witness in various courts and tribunals, especially in relation to surface-groundwater interactions.
