Our mission is to accelerate the world's shift away from fossil fuels to green hydrogen by delivering the world's best electrolyser.Hysata is developing a new type of hydrogen electrolyser. Our technology has the potential to significantly shift the economics of green hydrogen production, bringing $2/kg green hydrogen within reach, and accelerating the global transition to net zero emissions.Electrolysers use electricity to split water into hydrogen and oxygen, and are the key technology for producing green hydrogen. Green hydrogen is widely acknowledged to be a crucial part of reaching net zero emissions globally, with the potential to meet up to 20% of energy demand in a net zero global economy. The Hysata electrolyser is based on breakthrough Australian technology developed by a team from the University of Wollongong's ARC Centre of Excellence for Electromaterials Science, led by chemical catalysis and characterisation expert Professor Gerry Swiegers. We officially launched in June 2021, with $5 million in seed funding led by IP Group, with support from the Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC).

Hysata is a renewable energy company based in Wollongong, Australia, with a mission to accelerate the world's shift away from fossil fuels to green hydrogen. The company is developing a new type of hydrogen electrolyser that has the potential to significantly reduce the cost of green hydrogen production, making it more accessible and affordable. The technology behind Hysata's electrolyser is based on breakthrough research developed by a team from the University of Wollongong's ARC Centre of Excellence for Electromaterials Science, led by Professor Gerry Swiegers. With $5 million in seed funding led by IP Group and support from the Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC), Hysata officially launched in June 2021. The company's innovative technology has the potential to play a crucial role in reaching net zero emissions globally, as green hydrogen can meet up to 20% of energy demand in a net zero global economy. As the world continues to shift towards renewable energy sources, Hysata is well-positioned to make a significant impact in the fight against climate change.
Our goal is to help the world stop using fossil fuels and switch to green hydrogen by creating the best device to make hydrogen. This device, called an electrolyser, uses electricity to turn water into hydrogen and oxygen. Green hydrogen is important for reducing emissions and can be used to power many things. Our team, Hysata, has developed a new kind of electrolyser that can make green hydrogen cheaper and more efficiently. We believe our technology can help the world reach its goal of zero emissions. We have already raised $5 million to support our work and are excited to make a positive impact on the environment.
