Hytronic SA was founded in 1987 with the design of our firstFlameproof light fitting - The S11. This unit housed a 50w MR16halogen lamp and started a new trend in the South AfricanFlameproof market and although later discontinued due to animproved version (The S312), more than 10,000 units are circulatingin the field.Since then Hytronic SA has come a long way, manufacturingvarious types of Flameproof Electrical Equipment in South Africa.We also design and manufacture new products and ideas to meetcustomer requirements.Dealing with and supplying all the leaders in Underground MiningVehicle Manufacturing both locally and on an International level,we have products approved for a variety of markets, includingSouth Africa (MASC / SABS), ANZex, ATEX, MSHA and IECEx.We submit to the MASC (Mining and Surface Certification) MarkScheme, and are certified for SANS 60079-0, 60079-1 & 60079-11.We also fly our SABS ISO 9001 flag proudly
