HÅG by Flokk Details
HÅG is Norwegian brand belonging to Flokk which manufactures designer office chairs. The concept behind the design of these chairs is to promote movement along with providing support and comfort. It all the started in chicago in 1979 with the launch of the HÅG Doc chair which had a centre tilt mechanism. The chair was launched in collaboration with the Danish doctor, Aage Christian Mandal. It was based on his theory that "Man is not made to sit still, but made for movement and variation." Inspired by the concept of the HÅG Doc chair, Peter Opsvik designed the HÅG Capisco in 1984. This was a redefining moment for HÅG as it marked the beginning of the journey for HÅG in becoming an internationally renowned brand.
