A fundraising campaign and organisation designed to change the dire situation of asylum seekers in Malaysia. 'I Am Not A Criminal' was founded by Li Po Chun United World College of Hong Kong students Hei Kiu Au and Gwyneth Goh. The aim of the project is to deliver at least 300 bags of hope to asylum seekers in Malaysia and to raise awareness of the asylum seekers' dire situation. Currently, asylum seekers in Malaysia are sent to Malaysian Immigration Detention Camps, and are denied the basic human right to contact UNHRC to seek asylum, to access basic daily necessities such as food and adequate medical care. Reports have even stated that inmates have to result in drinking toilet water, with many resulting in mysterious deaths. There has already been more than 24 deaths since 2015 (22 of whom are from the Rohingya crisis). The project is a GoMakeADifference Initiative.
