A consortium of charities is mounting a new special event that partner charities can participate in, designed to reduce risk, minimize the workload and cost of staff involvement, and provide a "turn-key" opportunity to maximize your charity's fundraising potential, engagement of corporate sponsors, individual donors and other supporters.This opportunity is perfect for charities that may be risk averse or have little or no experience in mounting special events. This event provides the means for your charity to benefit from an already planned fundraising evening that requires relatively little involvement on your part in the event planning, production, logistics, coordination and execution. Following its launch in Toronto, organizers will entertain opportunities to mount similar events in other communities. Each year, it is anticipated that additional charities will be invited to participate and benefit from this innovative collaborative fundraiser.
