I Love Farms is a family owned and operated business, supplying premium quality fresh vegetables and fruits to Australia for over 50 years.Our farm is located in the small township of Mirboo North in South Gippsland, 155 kilometres east of Melbourne, Australia.Our story began when Salvatore and Paolina Germano emigrated from Sicily during the Great Depression in search of an honest day's work and better life. Winding up in country Victoria was quite a stretch from the Italian Mediterranean, but our Nonni found themselves at home raising a family and growing vegetables on Gippsland's red soils.In time, the reins were handed to Salvatore and Paolina's son Laurie, who swept the local dairy farmers' daughter Maria off her feet. Together they too raised their daughters on the farm and continue to work the land, growing some of the most delicious, fresh and safe produce we ever did taste. Today we grow cauliflower, broccoli and potatoes, whilst also running sheep and beef cattle.With a lifetime of experience, Laurie is still managing farm production, while Maria leads the I Love Farms Farm Shop, sharing her Italian heritage and love of fresh food with all those that stop by. Their daughter Emma tends to the business and oversees the wholesale supply of their produce. Emma has forged strong relationships with other suppliers and growers, and we now proudly share farm fresh products locally and globally.You can come and try our fresh produce by visiting our farm and on site Farm Shop. Alternatively, we can bring the farm to you via our online store and delivery boxes.
