iTraffic are a wholly Irish owned company who developed and launched a first of its kind nationwide real time Traffic Information System (TIS) in Ireland. The patented core technology uses real time data from the mass movement of mobile phones together with fleet traffic and journalistic data to generate highly accurate, up to the minute traffic information. iTraffic have also developed a range of additional traffic services in Ireland emanating from its fully developed TIS platform, including ‘Twaffic Navigator' – a downloadable traffic application and service for GPS-enabled smart phones providing turn-by-turn navigation integrated with real time traffic information and interfacing with social networks, Twitter and Facebook
