IAHV Peacebuilding Programs effectively transform the mindsets, attitudes, wellbeing and behaviour of individuals and communities engaged in or affected by conflict and violence.Cooperating with other organisations in a holistic approach, IAHV lays a strong psycho-social foundation in which other peace and development efforts can take root.Supplying this missing link in peacebuilding, we turn personal transformation into greater peacebuilding impact.IAHV also advocates and builds capacity for psychosocial peacebuilding programming and awareness on an international level, including the structural integration of MHPSS and Peacebuilding.Some examples of our Impact:- Rehabilitation: 700.000 prisoners / 61% drop in recidivism (USA)- Trauma Relief: 400,000+ beneficiaries- DDR: 7.400 ex-combatants & gangs- 100 At-risk youth in Lebanon and Jordan address 15 driving factors of violence- FARC (Colombia) leadership embraces Gandhian principles of non-violence- Reconciliation of warring tribes (Ivory Coast)Our programs include:- Preventing and Transforming Violent Extremism / Mobilising Youth for Peace- Reintegration of ex-combatants / Prisoner rehabilitation- Trauma Relief and Resilience programs- Professional and Self-Care Training- Global Advocacy for Integrated Peacebuilding (incl.
