The Institute for Building Science and Energy Efficiency (IBSEE) is an independent, private organization providing certified education and training opportunities, consulting services and R&D in the field of building science and energy efficiency to architects, designers, builders, building owners, property managers, building and construction industry, government agencies and non-profit groups.Our missonThe mission of IBSEE is to provide education and knowledge transfer to improve the quality of the nation's homes and buildings and to enhance their energy efficiency towards zero energy performance. IBSEE is therefore promoting energy-efficient (EE) building technologies including the use of green building products and materials (new buildings and the building stock / remodeling) and furthermore the use and adoption of clean, innovative renewable energy technologies (solar, biomass, etc.) For that purpose IBSEE's "Energy-Efficiency-Initiative" is bringing the worlds best-of-breed EE technologies, knowledge/competences, and products available today to private and business properties throughout the U.S.
