Our goal is to produce well-trained and educated clinic employees through on-the-job learning and a hybrid program of online coursework.Our business model is to work directly with clinics/healthcare providers in a team approach for better outcomes of qualified personnel.ICATAP is able to onboard Apprentices as they are hired year-round and then enroll them into our Mentorship program of In-Clinic Skills Training and at-home coursework which includes benchmark assessments. Upon completion of the program (approximately 1 year), the ICATAP Apprentices are able to sit boards for certification. ICATAP successfully launched after a thorough Pilot Program in collaboration with an established and respected multi-hospital/clinic group. ICATAP, LLC founder and CEO, Sheri Piper-Henry, served as the Medical Assistant Program Director/Faculty for 10 years in the State University System and worked as a certified M.A. in a large clinic/hospital system. Sheri has worked with accredited programs/compliance, as well as self-study and curriculum and assessment training. Additionally, Sheri's extensive background includes cross-training, team implementation, versatility to move staff across departments, and problem-solving to root source at the corporate level at GM-General Motors — equally applicable skills to the healthcare vertical market.Sheri saw a better solution for educating and training clinical staff that is responsive to healthcare providers' needs without the limitations of traditional college or certification programs.
