Intercultural Communication Edge (icEdge) provides personalized assessments, expert advice, and training tools to support more effective communication across diverse demographics, cultures, and nationalities. The research that forms the icEdge communication assessment began at the Duke University Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) in 2002 and was developed over a period of fourteen years by a leading team of researchers: Professor Wendi Adair at the University of Waterloo, Professor Xiao-ping Chen at the University of Washington, and Professor Nancy Buchan at the University of South Carolina. icEdge was orginally developed to fill a need for theoretically grounded and empirically validated tools to instruct MBA students in multicultural teams on effective communication strategies. icEdge uses measures developed and validated across multiple studies, with over 8,000 participants.
