IceHoldzTM are made of a proprietary composite plastic shell and filled with a unique glacier blue backing that when combined actually mimic the properties of real water ice. Just like real water ice, a ¼ inch pick penetration into IceHoldzTM is all that is required for solid placement. All wall and incline mounted IceHoldzTM can be rotated 90 degrees, once one side becomes worn. Our athletes have determined the smallest IceHoldzTM can withstand 18 months and more of wear and tear. If after substantial use, your IceHoldzTM is in need of replacement due to extended use, simply pop out the backing and return the outer shell to Off-Belay, LLC. We will recycle your old shell and give you a credit toward the purchase of a new shell. IceHoldzTM were created as a means to give ice climbers the ability to train year round. If you can mount indoor rock holds on a wall, then why not come up with a material similar to ice, and mount it on the wall. The best part is that Ice Holdz require no refrigeration.
