The IcFEM Mission is a legally registered Missionary Society founded in 1989, with its international Headquarters in Kimilili Town, Bungoma North District in Western Province of Kenya. IcFEM is represented in the UK through its sister organization, IcFEM Mission (Europe) which is a Charitable Trust. The work is overseen by a management board of trustees who meet on a quarterly basis and a council of reference. Vision - God with His people and their development. Mission Statement - Accelerating total Community Transformation- through holy living and hard work.Structure: IcFEM is managed and coordinated from IcFEM Headquarters in Kimilili with leaders for each line ministry (see below) preparing and delivering training and resources which can be cascaded down to through to local and village level, and onto individual families. Regional groupings of at least 40 villages are then combined to form a Local Transformation Unit (LTU). IcFEM currently works with 17 LTU areas, with each one represented and led by a democratically elected board, selected from the coordinators in each village. Each line ministry is also represented by a coordinator in each LTU and village, with subsidiary boards formed and trained in each LTU to oversee the work of that line ministry. Kingdom Singers; Arts, Music, Dance & DramaThe 12 Line Ministries are supported by additional core functions of Management, Finance, HR, IT and Administration, which operate from the HQ in Kimilili. IcFEM also runs a GAP programme for short & longer term volunteers from within Kenya and overseas.
