Visit our website: www.icue.co.uk iCUE is a society aimed at improving graduate employability through workshops, speaker events and a competition called the Edinburgh Apprentice. We put students through their paces with activities similar to those of a recruitment process, with Case Studies, Strengths sessions and talks from entrepreneurs. The Edinburgh Apprentice is the biggest business competition in Edinburgh! 250 selected students will compete for the title of 'The Edinburgh Apprentice'. The competitors' sales skills, marketing skills, problem solving skills and investing skills will be challenged in a variety of rounds. The rounds have been designed by Edinburgh University's iCUE society in collaboration with sponsoring companies to ensure competitors develop skills and gain knowledge that accredited companies are looking for in graduate employees. As competitors progress through the competition, judges from the sponsoring companies will have the opportunity to network and communicate with competitors. This is a great opportunity for companies to express interest in exceptional candidates and for competitors to show their skills. The goal of The Edinburgh Apprentice is not only to give students a platform of recognition to top companies but also to give students the opportunity to develop real-life, practical business abilities.
