We would like to welcome you to IDA Merrett's & Group Health Centre Pharmacies group where we offer the upmost level of customer service and pharmaceutical care in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Our Group Health Centre location has been in operation since 1963 while our Merrett's Steelton location has been serving locals since 1954. While the original owners are still active in the pharmacy business, the next generation of pharmacists are taking the reins to provide the same level of service and personalized care the community has come to expect at Merrett's Pharmacy and the Group Health Centre Pharmacy. As independent pharmacies, we are able to tailor our services to the needs of our customers and patients. Both stores are blessed with an amazing staff that understand individual customer needs and go above and beyond to help. Our success over the years is due to the valued customers and the hard working staff and we are honoured to continue serving the community.We have a premium blister packing operation that allows us to process blister packs for our patients and other pharmacies in the community. We are the largest producer of blister packs in Canada using a Vandernbrink Blister Packing Machine. Our special compounding laboratory enables us to make special creams, ointments, tablets, capsules, liquids, lollipops, suppositories, troches and more by doctor's requests. Our pharmacists specialize in chronic diseases management and employ certified diabetes and respiratory educators. We also advocate for those experiencing mental health and addictions, and we service those who require methadone and suboxone. We work with partners in the community to improve overall health, increase awareness and educate people on medications and their conditions.We provide free delivery, an online and in-store shop front, easy prescription refills through an online website, diem app, automated phone system.
