IDEA Centre Details
The IDEA Centre program is all about Innovation, Development, Entrepreneurship, and Action. This online program is designed to develop student-led businesses and social enterprises across New Brunswick. Students from various schools gather for 2 periods each day during the school year in a dynamic, supportive workspace in uptown Saint John to develop and grow their business and social enterprises. They receive mentorship and expertise from entrepreneurs, social innovators and community builders while receiving school credits for their work. The program's success has largely been due to the support from strong community organizations such as Economic Development Greater Saint John, ConnexionWorks, Brilliant Labs, the Social Enterprise Hub, Junior Achievement, Toastmasters, the Teen Resource Centre and many, many others.
