IDM Engineering is a technology company that designs and manufactures unique "Asset Management Systems" and components utilizing patent pending technologies and one-of-a-kind smart phone apps.IDM's initial product offering is marketed as the "Engine Defender" asset management system. It is the first of several products that will be developed for different applications and marketed under the "Defender" product line. The offering is designed primarily for use in large commercial diesel engines. It consists of a proprietary filter, unique filter housing, multiple sensor technologies, a state-of-the-art electronic control module and most importantly a smart phone app. Mechanically, the system is capable of substantially extending the usable life of a fluid by providing enhance fluid cleaning.The filter coupled with state of the art electronics insures that the oil is maintained at peak conditions. Once installed, using the system includes periodic sampling of the oil to verify its quality and the replacement of the proprietary filter as it reaches its capacity for holding contaminates. Finally, through wireless connectivity the mobile application will allow operators, maintenance staff, and owners to log important engine and vehicle information, to monitor the system, to receive maintenance reminders and diagnostic alerts, and to place orders for consumables.
