International Energy Agency (IEA) Wind Technology Collaboration Programme (TCP) is a vehicle for member countries to exchange information on the planning and execution of national large-scale wind system projects and to undertake co-operative research and development (R&D) projects. Founded in 1974, IEA Wind sponsors cooperative research tasks and provides a forum for international discussion of research and development issues. There are currently 21 Member Countries. The European Commission, WindEurope, and the Chinese Wind Energy Association are also involved.
