IEEE is the world's largest professional association advancing innovation and technological excellence for the benefit of humanity. IEEE and its members inspire a global community to innovate for a better tomorrow through its highly cited publications, conferences, technology standards, professional and educational activities. The IEEE NITK chapter is an award winning chapter, and one of the largest student branches in the Asia Pacific Region comprising of 350+ student members.Founded in 1988, we have been involved in innovative projects and research in the field of Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Communication, Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Metallurgy and Material Science Engineering. Apart from projects, we host competitions, workshops, knowledge sharing sessions and mentorship programmes for the students. Our members are involved in active research based on their areas of interest through Special Interest Groups like IEEE Computer Society, Signal Processing Society, Circuits and Systems Society and Piston.
