The IEEE UFF Student Branch is a nonprofit group run by and for undergraduate and graduate students at the Universidade Federal Fluminense. Founded in 1982 and reopened in 2011, the IEEE UFF Student Branch is part of the IEEE Network, the largest professional organization in the world, and promotes extracurricular activities to complement, extend and apply academic knowledge in order to generate new and better learning opportunities to the entire academic community. We currently have 2 chapters: IAS UFF (Industry Approach) and PES UFF (Energy and Power Systems), 1 Affinity Group: WIE (Women in C&T), 1 Rocket Modeling Competition Team: LUFFT, plus Committees administrative and technical and social projects.
