IEF Entrepreneurship Foundation is the creator of India's first collaborative ecosystem for small-scale entrepreneurs in India. IEF helps small-scale entrepreneurs engage with practicing professionals and industry stakeholders who can help reduce their learning curve, and increase their rate of growth. IEF creates awareness, interprets government policies, runs professional training programs, provides networking opportunities, and enables small-scale entrepreneurs to take informed decisions regarding their organization and their growth strategy. IEF works with small-scale entrepreneurs who have been in business for at least three years, who create employment for local people, and are helping build the local economy of the state. In every state, IEF works with local partners, which include government, quasi-government, non-government and private organisations who have objectives similar to IEF. In Meghalaya, IEF has partnered with with the Meghalaya Institute of Entrepreneurship - a Meghalaya Government initiative. In Nagaland IEF is working with YouthNet, a non-profit platform set up to address issues, and contribute to the growth and well-being of the people of Nagaland. IEF has also initiated work in Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Karnataka and Kerala. IEF is the brainchild of its Founder & Chairperson, Bhairavi Jani, who is a fourth generation entrepreneur, and business visioning and development specialist.
