IGNIS Details
We are a team of 5 mechanical and 3 electrical engineers from ETH Zurich (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology). In the upcoming year, we will develop an autonomous vertical takeoff and landing aircraft (VTOL) capable of transporting and releasing water to any area with high precision. We vision to implement the device for an autonomous fire-extinguishing network in rural areas. Therefore, we are actively collaborating with Swiss aviation company Dufour Aerospace and Swiss Federal Office for Defense Procurement to build a reliable and futuristic prototype.
