The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Stuttgart Region (Industrie- und Handelskammer Region Stuttgart/IHK Region Stuttgart) is a strong network of business operators:We represent the interests of more than 150.000 member companies and give the economy in our region a voice towards politics and administration.Being a public corporation the IHK organizes the vocational training and performs other important tasks delegated by law.Furthermore, we inform and advise on all relevant economic matters, offer professional education, and serve as a platform for the exchange of experiences from entrepreneurs.„We" stands for about 500 employees in administration and management as well as over 5.000 company representatives who engage in voluntary activities in the IHK.We support for our member companies on the spot at our headquarter in Stuttgart as well as at our five sites in the surrounding counties (Böblingen, Esslingen, Göppingen, Ludwigsburg und Rems-Murr).You can find everything about the economy in the Stuttgart Region, our services and tasks on our website.
