Architects based in Richmond, Surrey. The practice aim has always been to provide a closely attentive and enthusiastic service to our clients, and to design imaginative, innovative and well-loved buildings. These qualities have resulted in a number of successful and long lasting working relationships - some of which span 25 years – with London Borough of Newham, Haberdashers' Aske's School for Girls, Reed's and Hampton School amongst others. It was founded in 1984 by Alan Brown and Chris Box as a partnership. Paul Edey and Simon Tupper joined in 1986, Richard Matthews in 1995. The partnership became a limited company in 2007 and now trades as IID Architects. The current Directors are Simon Tupper, Richard Matthews, Nick Rich and Gareth Box. There are six Associates and each takes responsibility alongside project work for developing an aspect of the practice and keeping others informed of latest developments. Areas covered include BIM, Interiors, Regulations, Sustainability and Educational Design. IID Architects has a varied portfolio of community and education projects ranging from £500,000 to £30 million – we have extensive experience in conversion and extension of existing buildings as well as new builds. We provide architectural services from inception to completion.
