How often are we inspired by something that has a strong impact on our lives? This can sometimes be a book, a movie, an experience or an event. We promise that the IIT 2013 Global Conference to be held in Houston, Texas, from December 6-8, 2013 will be such an event. The theme of this conference is – Inspiring Innovation for Tomorrow.The Pan-IIT Global Conference is held every alternate year in United States of America, in a different city. San Jose, Washington DC, Chicago and New York City were recent locations. The aim of the conference is to bring together "the best and the brightest"- graduates of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), many of whom have been responsible for advances and innovation in engineering, science and technology, in the U.S. and other countries. The next conference will be held in December 2013 in Houston, Texas.This conference is typically attended by IIT alumni and other technologists/scientists, who wish to connect with and learn from leaders and innovators, and participate in inspiring discussions. Previous keynote speakers have included Bill Gates, Bill Clinton, and Jack Welch. As in previous years, the 2013 event will have sessions focused on innovations in Information Technology (IT), Energy, Biotechnology, Healthcare, Policy, Social Entrepreneurship, General Business and Financial Management, to inspire IITians and others to develop & deliver the next big idea for tomorrow.http://www.facebook.com/iitGlobalConference
