The Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, under its National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM-ICPS), has funded IIT Bhilai to host the Technology Innovation Hub (TIH) in the area of FinTech. IBITF has been established as a Section 8 Company under the Companies Act 2013, on January 21, 2021, by IIT Bhilai to host this TIH and act as the nodal center for spearheading Entrepreneurship, R&D, HRD, Skill development, and Collaboration-related activities in various technology verticals including FinTech.IBITF strives to create an enabling ecosystem for research, innovation, and startups to thrive. The company is mandated for translational research in the areas of emerging technologies in the domain of Fintech.
