Born out of a challenge to create an automation solution considered impossible by engineering and design challenges, iLab LLC will soon be delivering a new standard of automation to the clinical diagnostic laboratory. Founded by two Russian-trained engineers who immigrated to the United States nearly four decades ago, iLab's cabapilities were developed through 25 years of their partnership in a contract medical device engineering enterprise. iLab's technology represents the culmination of Gershon Giter's (sadly deceased) and Dmitry Volokov's wisdom, expertise and creativity.Currently iLab is preparing its functional prototype for beta testing with the goal of entering the commercialization phase by the 3rd quarter of 2017. By fulfilling the vision of its founders and current leadership, iLab will pleasantly upset the status quo in laboratory operations, increasing sample throughput, decreasing testing errors and improving the profitability of our customers.
