Our mission is to revolutionize the way emerging and established artists connect with audiences by bridging the digital generation gapDriven by digital innovation and software technology, iLive via their iLive Radio platform provides the listeners with three distinct avenues to stream music: web, video and mobile. From gospel and blues to jazz and hip hop, our remit is to make great music accessible to everyone.We enrich the lives of our local and world community by airing programs made by musicians and artists who represent the diversity of Toronto's brimming music scene. And that's not all!We also provide the following opportunities to our community:- training to those who wish to learn studio production skills, and other aspects of running a multi-channel internet radio station;- yearly iLive Soulfest, bringing legendary acts, international independent soul artists and superlative Canadian talent together to perform and expound the clear message that soul music is very much alive; - monthly iLive Soulfest Lounge that showcase local and international independent artists with the focus on soul infused music, backed by local bands and musicians- Open Artist Program is part of the greater endeavor, our commitment is to bring artists together to communicate, collaborate and create. The Soulfest Open Artist Program in our first major step in bridging a gap to connect Canadian soul artists with artists from around the world to facilitate an exchange of ideas;- and more!Managed by volunteers and a volunteer board of directors, we're making strides to foster the inter-generational transmission of music knowledge in today's new digital age.
