An Illinois biomass economy may be closer than we think -- Illinois farmers and businesses have many of the core competencies in place already. The Illinois Biomass Working Group (IBWG) will accelerate the pace at which we can put biomass to work by linking these stakeholders for information sharing and collaboration. IBWG addresses a full range of biomass topics, including feedstock and market development, sustainability, supply chain, policy, and research.
