Architecture & Planning - Berkeley, California, United States
Illuminosa, formerly known as Alice Prussin Lighting Design was established in the spring of 1998 and has been sharing light with the world ever since! Some recent and past projects include Manor Branch Library, Netivot Shalom Synagogue, Yerba Buena Gardens Children's Center, Yountville Community Center, North Berkeley Branch Library, and the Los Gatos Public Library. On the boards and under construction are the Girls Inc of Alameda County Headquarters and the Mission San Luis Rey. Our approach is distinguished by working closely with the architectural design team to create the most integrated and seamless architectural approach to lighting, taking special care to consider the quality of the light, the color, the direction, and the scale and role of lighting fixtures in different spaces. Our work has been published in Architectural Record, Interior Design and Architectural Record Lighting magazines. Stay posted for updates on the exciting changes happening in our studio and the launch of our new website!
