ILMUNC China is the result of a partnership between the International Affairs Association at the University of Pennsylvania and WELAND International, two international organizations dedicated to the development of education, not only in their respective nations, but in the entire world. Together they created ILMUNC China with one purpose: to give students from China and other Asian nations the chance to enhance their Model UN skills and apply them at a conference with international standards.With a multi-day training component and a conference component, delegates are able to both enhance and utilize their debate, negotiation, research, and writing skills. The lead-up bootcamp provides delegates with daily exercises and hands-on instruction from dedicated directors experienced in Model UN at the collegiate level. The students are then able to showcase their newly advanced skills in a competitive, high-level conference held to international standards.Finally, the ILMUNC China experience does not only reside in committee and training interactions. Our team has managed to make the experience as meaningful as possible. With fun and entertaining social events, the possibility to try the region´s internationally recognized dishes, and the opportunity to learn about Ivy League university admissions and university life in the United States, delegates are be able to enjoy themselves while also advancing their Model UN skills.
