We are a non-profit, community-run children's museum featuring interactive educational exhibits, programming & activities for both children & parents.Our exhibit space includes a sensorimotor area for infants, a Fixer Upper playhouse, a STEM exhibit with light table, a pre-literacy room, a health clinic, a sensory garden and an art room. We cater to children ages 0 to 6 but do not limit our offerings to that age range. The visitor fee is $12 per family, up to three children. There is a $2 charge for each additional child. Your visitor fee partially covers the cost of Head Start field trips, Special Needs Day and other child-focused outreach efforts across the CSRA.Imagination Station Children's Museum of Augusta runs on a cooperative or co-op model. A co-op is a member-owned, member-run organization that operates for the benefit of its members. Imagination Station is completely member-run and we rely on volunteers to host programs and become involved in outreach opportunities. Memberships are good for the entire family, up to four children. Grandparents are included too! Members staff 3 hours per month (Tier One) or 3 hours every other month (Tier Two) in exchange for:*Free entry to open days*Free Member Only Play Times*Musuem Rental for parties ($35 for up to 4 hours!)*Free or heavily discounted admission to most events*Three months of maternity/paternity leave*Free or heavily discounted programs such as crafts, story times, STEM activities and more.**While community transmission levels of COVID-19 remain "moderate" in our area, we will also provide members with individual playtimes, for their family only. This will remain in effect until community transmission levels of COVID-19 moved to the "low" level.
