IMC engineering Srl is born in Genova (Italy) on 1988 with the main aims to provide clients with highly specialised services of assistance and technical consultancy in the field of corrosion prevention. The dynamism, characteristic of the company, has allowed IMC to increase and to diversify its activity, acquiring new experiences and improving the consolidated capabilities. Over the years, the activity from the marine industry, has been extended at first to the Oil&Gas field and successively to the Mega Yachts. At the same rate competences and capabilities have grown as well, leading to the expansion of the services to the cathodic protection, to the passive fire protection. The services include: Preparation and review of technical specifications, Coating condition survey, Project management, Inspection and quality control, Failure analysis and expert witness, coating traning. IMC has a highly qualified coating inspectors team, the majority of them NACE or FROSIO certified. The inspector's team is ready to leave to every destination in the world with a short notice for spot or full time inspection. During its activity, IMC has acquired a significant experience on Marine and Oil&Gas industries being involved and attending to: 76 new buildings, ships and offshore units 8 conversion of ship and FPSO/FSO 243 coating specifications/procedures 187 condition surveys 17 arbitrations/disputes 7 projects management of large coating works
