International Medical Graduates for TexasForeign physicians desire engagement in patient care in the united states. Underserved population needs more attention. IMGs for Texas exists to bring them together.Each year thousands of foreign physicians come to the states to live and practice medicine, where they have to start from scratch, they need to pass the licensing exams and obtain U.S clinical experience to be recognized by future employers. And that could take years! All this hardship and the valuable unemployed skills and knowledge of those physicians is identified by IMGs for Texas.To solve this problem, IMGs for Texas takes a two-pronged approach. On the healthcare providers side, we build partnerships with clinics and organizations providing care to those in need to provide them with our diverse, motivated physician who are bilingual and come with international experience. At the same time, we develop programs specifically built to serve the foreign physicians needs and availability and provide resources and coaching to the foreign physicians to help them integrate in the U.S healthcare workforce. To date, we have helped tens of foreign physicians employ their clinical skills thus gaining clinical experience preparing them for a better future and through that helped 1400 patient in need.
