These ball & roller bearings as well as the Slew Drives are quality products made in Gremsdorf, Germany. IMO has more than 30 years experience in designing and manufacturing these products. Depending on application and type of the slewing ring the bearings can be up to 6 m in diameter and up to a weight of 20 t. Application areas are for example construction machines, open & deep mining, forestry & agriculture, ship & plant construction, transportation & medical technology. IMO is one of the leading suppliers of blade, yaw and single main bearings for onshore & offshore wind turbines. Die ritzel- oder schneckengetriebenen IMO Schwenktriebe bestehen aus einer Rollen- oder Kugeldrehverbindung, einem Antriebsstrang und einem vollkommen umschließenden, abgedichteten Gehäuse. Als einbaufertige Systembaugruppe ersetzen sie zahlreiche Einzelteile. Schwenktriebe finden sich z.B. als Lenkgetriebe in Kranfahrwerken und Schwerlasttransportern, in Hubarbeitsbühnen, in Greifern, Zangen und anderen Drehgeräten aus dem Baumaschinensektor.
