ImPack Protocol is a blockchain-based platform representing a new age in impact investing. The Protocol utilizes smart contracts to develop an instantaneous transnational market for capital with a focus on sustainable development. The platform allows users in established markets to provide micro-finance at soft loan rates to individuals and communities in emerging markets (with a focus on the Caribbean). We follow a regenerative finance model and believe that blockchain technology and cryptographic protocols will allow for frictionless and transparent peer-to-peer lending. This model is disruptive to traditional finance structures that, through high barriers to entry and other obstacles, exclude certain communities from accessing necessary capital.
