Biomechanics & Human Factors - Injury Causation & Accident Reconstruction
I use quantitative analysis techniques, physics, simulations and full scale testing to determine the events that contribute to accidents causing injuries, the loss of life, and the loss of property. I have 25 years of experience teaching engineering and 20 years of experience using my biomechanics and human factors background and knowledge of vehicles and equipment to conduct accident reconstructions, injury analyses, and solve problems for my clients, teach jurors, and defend my conclusions in state and federal courts across the U.S. My areas of specialization include biomechanics and injury analysis, instrumentation and testing, human factors, and reconstructing accidents in various settings including roadway vehicles, construction sites, industrial and commercial facilities, barges, railways & trains, airports, amusement parks, steel mills, food processing plants, scaffolds, loading docks. My clients represent municipalities, injured parties, manufacturing companies, school districts, vehicle manufacturers, transportation and logistics organizations. I am also retained to analyze accidents and injuries in workers' compensation claims, criminal cases, FELA and fraud.
