ImpactMed is an organization that bridges the gap between Silicon Valley's entrepreneurial spirit and the world of healthcare and impact investing. It is organized by Stanford undergraduate and graduate students, and professional healthcare investors looking to provide established and rising investors the opportunity to explore the intersection of healthcare and impact investing, meet and partner with investment professionals, and take control of their own investment projects and ideas. We believe in the power of impact investments, and hope to encourage growth in innovative solutions that will transform the landscape of patient health. Our vision follows three fundamental goals: to educate, to partner, and to impact. Through these efforts, ImpactMed hopes to guide investors towards meaningful solutions in healthcare, inciting impactful changes in human health at both a local and global level.Educate: We educate our local community about the benefits that healthcare impact investing can reap and facilitate the development of foundational basics. This will be done through our publications and the teaching of our own course curriculum on healthcare and impact investing.Partner: We partner with funds, families, and foundations to support outreach and impactful investment opportunities.Impact: We discover actionable investment opportunities, connect these opportunities with industry sponsors, and consult impactful healthcare start-ups through fundraising logistics and identifying suitable investors.Learn more at impactmed.org, or contact us at contact@impactmed.org.
