Bridging the gap between technology and capability to foster fielding novel, provocative technologies to the US Navy and Marine Corps.Technology changes rapidly, and with a multitude of government barriers, nontraditional and small business are struggling to adapt to these changes quickly and effectively. IMPAX is a partnership between the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) and the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI), IMPAX has the ability to engage with government agencies, industry, academia, and the public to assist with completing complex technological projects at a faster rate, with higher returns.IMPAX's specialties include:-Scanning and collisions (combining multiple entities)-Mashups (combining multiple technologies)-Assisting with experimentation and tech demonstrations.
