Imperfect Frame is a photographic vision of the world created by French photographer Marius Moragues in 2017 aiming to focus on humanity from primarily ethnological and philosophical aspects. The heart of its mission is to document ethnic groups, preserve their traditional values and cultural identities in order to question the foundations of our modern world. It is through its travel stories and life quotes that Imperfect Frame strives to bring to light the most neglected peoples of our civilization in order to inspire a world too often conditioned by materialism and quantitativism. What if, in the end, the true values of our humanity were found among those living in the most remote corners of our globe? What if its true authenticity was found among the people living with disconcerting simplicity? And, what if those who deliberately carried the most imperfections in the face of our fast-paced society were, in fact, the ones who inspired us in the most profound and meaningful ways?In order to better illustrate Imperfect Frame's vision, Marius has currently undertaken a photo documentary project for Indonesia, BEYOND, along with the release of an exclusive book serie. To do this, a decade-long exploration of the world's biggest archipelago is planned by motorcycle and boat with the following geographical timeline:- Java (2017-2019);- Bali (2021);- Nusa Tenggara (2022);- Kalimantan (2023);- Sumatra (2024);- Sulawesi (2025);- Maluku (2026);- Papua (2027)Find Imperfect Frame's on other social media:- Facebook: Imperfect Frame- Instagram: @imperfectframe
