Research - Bad Nauheim, Hessen, Germany
Our graduate school was founded 2008 as IMPRS for Heart and Lung Research. After 12 successful years, continued innovation within our faculty and curriculum drove us to change the name of the school in 2020 to "IMPRS for Molecular Organ Biology".The IMPRS for Molecular Organ Biology (IMPRS-MOB) is an excellent graduate program hosted by the MPI for Heart and Lung Research in Bad Nauheim and works in close collaboration with the Goethe University (Frankfurt) and the Justus Liebig University (Gießen). We are dedicated to train, mentor and educate young and talented doctoral students in life sciences and beyond. Our structured graduate program covers all cellular and molecular aspects that control physiological and pathophysiological processes of organ systems. We have some focus on the vascular and cardiopulmonary system but also cover other areas such as the metabolic and immune system as well as tumor biology.
